MedLink Georgia is a Federally Qualified Health Center. That status allows the corporation to bill most major insurance providers - HMO, PPO, and POS - as well as Medicaid, Medicare, PeachCare for Kids, Georgia's State Health Benefit plan, and even some insurance programs from adjacent states.

Medicaid
Medicaid is determined on a month-to-month basis. Patients must bring their current Medicaid information each time they come to the center. Copayments are expected at the time of service if applicable.

Medicare
Medicare patients are not charged their Part B Annual deductible for most services provided at a MedLink center. Copayments are due at time of service.

Peachcare for Kids
Georgia offers a Medicaid program for children up to the age of 18 to families who have income higher than allowable for Medicaid. Modest monthly premiums must be paid for this coverage. Failure to pay a premium results in a reinstatement penalty. If you need assistance with PeachCare for Kids, ask the Office Manager for help.

Qualifying for Discounted Services
MedLink serves all patients in need of care. MedLink is not a “free clinic” – all patients are expected to pay at least a nominal fee to cover the cost of their care. Patients with insurance pay as they would at any other private practice. Low-income and uninsured patients pay discounted fees based upon their income and family size.
