MedLink Georgia, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(C)(3) corporation, originally established as the Oconee-Oglethorpe Primary Health Care Center in 1976 under the Rural Health Initiative Program. The corporation is governed by a Board of Directors with representation from each county where centers are located.

Day-to-day operations are managed by a Chief Executive Officer and administrative staff from the corporate headquarters in Colbert.

MedLink is a fully staffed year-round primary care organization that consists of an administrative office and clinic sites throughout northeast Georgia. Physicians are Board Certified or eligible for certification in their specialty area.

Every center provides basic primary care services. However, each community has unique needs, so a center may offer specific programs and services based on identified needs and available resources.

The corporation became a federally supported (USPHS Section 330) Primary Healthcare Center in 1979 and uses this support to increase access to medical care for patients in northeast Georgia.
